During our #wildernessyear to #savetheBWCA we had the privilege of exploring the Boundary Waters on three occasions with Joseph Goldstein. Joseph is a remarkable young man and a dedicated Wilderness Warrior who is fighting to protect the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness for his younger brothers and future generations, while also battling cancer.
Today is Joseph’s 2 year “Cancerversary” has he had dubbed it. Two years ago today he was diagnosed with leukemia. Thank you Joseph for your dedication to the Wilderness. You inspire Amy and me to strive to be better people, put the comfort and needs of others ahead of our own, and try to make the world a little better. Getting you know you has certainly made our lives brighter.
