Our friends, John, Hazel, and Cy Oberholtzer, and Andy Keith skied in to meet us today. They brought a big wall tent and will be camping with us for a couple nights. Tank, Tina, and Acorn were the stars of the show and everyone had fun skijoring after setting up camp.
Hazel and Cy helped us feed the dogs their evening meal and now everyone is headed to bed. This is Cy and Hazel’s first winter camping trip in the Wilderness. It is fun to watch them experience things for the first time.
The temperature is supposed to drop overnight and it is supposed to remain cold for about a week! We sure hope the below zero weather will help thicken the ice and freeze 4rup the pockets of slush that remain on some of the lakes.
