Bright rays of sun shone through the walls of our tent went I opened my eyes around 6:30 AM yesterday. The land was still, the storm had passed and the constant sound of wind beating on the tent were gone.
I lay in my sleeping bag watching the glow on the thin nylon intensify knowing that these first rays would soon bring warmth to our tiny cocoon and the Wilderness.
