Sure would rather we sitting by Brule Lake in the #boundarywaters #wilderness now instead of getting ready to board a plane, but we are happy to be heading home to #minnesota . If you live near #duluth we hope you can join us to night for a book signing at @zenithbookstore in Duluth from 7-9 pm tonight (10/26). We will be sharing our new book, A Year in the Wilderness, published by @milkweed_books and talking our our #wildernessyear to @savethebwca . We have been sharing our #wildernessyear to @savethebwca with @al_franken and many other decision makers in DC this week. The Boundary Waters belongs to all of us. We hopped on a plane last night and woke up this morning in Washington DC ready to advocate for our nation’s most popular Wilderness. #savethebwca #boundarywaters #bwca

We had a blast at the Splinter Tones concert to @savethebwca last night in Grand Marais. A big thanks to everyone that came out to support the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters. We had a great time visiting with folks and signing books!

Join us, The Splinter Tones, and @savethebwca this evening in Grand Marais, MN. The fun begins at 7 pm at the Community Center 4H building. Refreshments and @bentpaddlebeer ! Plus, we will be signing and selling our new book!

We sent the day at @stjohnsu all day today working with 300 7th and 8th grade students though a wonderful program called ProjectEARTH. We did a keynote in the morning and the worked with smaller groups through out the day. They set up our @seekoutside tipi, @expedusa , and CCS shelters, hung food packs between trees, tried on our @wintergreenely anoraks and other cold weather clothing, asked a million questions, practiced knot typing, and spent the day outside rotating through a bunch of interactive stations spread across the campus. It was great to spend the day outside with young people who were excited to learn!

That’s right we had to go to @milkweed_books AGAIN to sign more books. Thanks to you they are flying off the shelves. We hope you can join us tonight at @universityclubstpaul for a presentation/book signing hosted by @subtextbooks .
