Watching the sunrise over the Minneapolis skyline isn’t exactly the same as watching the sunrise over a Boundary Waters lake, but we are excited to be in Minneapolis for a week sharing our story and the importance of protecting the Boundary Waters from Twin Metals and other sulfide-ore copper mines being proposed along the southern edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
We have more interviews scheduled this week, as well as a Year in the Wilderness celebration on Tuesday evening at the Solar Arts Center, which is sponsored by Chowgirls Killer Catering. Plus, we are meeting with Milkweed Editions and are starting to work on our book about A Year in the Wilderness.
We look forward to sharing more stories and events on social media, so stay tuned!
