The snowy landscape is beautiful and other than the churning waves 1/2 mile down the lake from our campsite, it really feels like winter. We are hoping the thin slush layer that covers the lake freezes up overnight so we can head out and explore our surroundings tomorrow.
Yesterda,y two folks from Ely came out in a boat from Moose Lake with over a week’s worth of supplies and a ton of treats, including lots of fresh veggies. We gorged on fresh salads and @patagoniaprov Sampa Soup with fresh peppers, brussel sprouts, and broccoli for lunch.
I don’t think fresh fruits and vegetables have ever tasted so good.
