On our way south we stopped to visit an old friend… Did you know this sea stack used to be an arch? We’ve paddled this stretch of Lake Superior shoreline more times than we can count, leading groups of kayakers through the arch and in the various sea caves by Palisade Head and Shovel Point. Some wild places just feel like home.
